PLP NZ also mixes grease and jointing compounds which are used for transmission and distribution components. The greases are application specific and are manufactured utilising a combination of 3 dedicated mixing machines and experienced operators. Grease selection criteria takes into account fitting material (Copper / Aluminium) and also if full tension or nontension.

Mixed Grease and Jointing Compounds

Cable joints and terminals are our best-sellers, with nearly 20,000 products made every month. Grease and jointing compounds are mixed and packed at our factory to be used in these components. Various-sized bottles can also be packed as part of a bundle in response to customers’ preferences.
