Aluminium Clad Steel Formed Splice (AWFS’s)

For use on: Al-Clad Steel Conductors

PLP’s conductor splices are used for making connections between two bare conductors. PLP’s mid-span conductor splices will restore full mechanical and electrical properties and provide an economical and highly efficient splicing method.

Type AWFS are manufactured from aluminium clad steel wire that will match the number and strength of those used in the conductor.

1. Full Tension Applications (90% RTS as per AS1154.3)
2. Left hand Lay (LHL) standard
