Aluminium Formed Grips (AFG’s)

For use on: AAC, AAAC, ACSR, SBC or PVC Covered Conductors

PLP’s PREFORMED™ Aluminium Formed Grips (AFG’s) are designed to be applied directly to bare AAC, ACSR, AAAC or PVC Covered conductors and when directly applied over the conductors will hold 90% of the rated tensile strength (RTS).

AFG’s have colour coded markings to indicate the starting point for application and to assist in product identification.

Note:

1. Full Tension Applications (90% RTS as per AS1154.3)
2. * Limited Tension Application (55-90% RTS)
